Mission

In 2015, for the first time, a round table was held with representatives of the Berlin Senate administrations as well as experts from the Freie Träger in the field of violence and extremism prevention, to discuss a common strategy of prevention and deradicalization for extremist Salafism. As a result, the Berlin Regional Program was developed by the Berlin Land Commission against Violence. Initiatives, projects and measures to promote radicalization as well as intervention and deradicalization are promoted throughout Berlin.

The focus is on prevention work at schools and institutions of child and youth welfare.
