Public Final Event of PROVA Project – Prevention of violent radicalisation and of violent actions in intergroup relations

During its two years of development, the European funded PROVA Project aimed at preventing the violent radicalisation of minors and young adults in prison or in alternative measures, addressing operators of the juvenile penal system, stakeholders involved in inclusion policies and minors and young adults in the penal area, with the participation of university students in the social, psychological, and pedagogical fields.

The actions foreseen in each European country of the partnership have seen the creation of training and workshops for the elaboration of intervention strategies and Guidelines for social inclusion.

These Guidelines will be presented during the Public Event highlighting the importance of empowerment interventions, training for professionals and workshops for young people undergoing criminal proceedings, as well as the need to promote an effective communication for the dissemination of an inclusive culture, also through the creation of spaces and environments for this purpose and the consolidation of networks between institutions and the Third Sector.
